[ sometime later in the evening after all of the assorted chaos of the day, gu yun is fulfilling his nerd promise - by which i mean, he's laid out his fancy era appropriate outfits ("costumes")(?) for mineo to get a look at because he feels bad.

there are two besides the one on his body - a black one and one with a nice cloak. his liuli glass monocle sits with the pile, and a tiger shaped charm roughly the size of a hand sits with it.

gu yun himself, in a different outfit from earlier, leans back against the wall, amused. ] There you go - the real thing.

[ mineo actually gets a special starter! by which i mean, it's not long after mineo throws his phone that gu yun comes to find him, wherever he is. ]

Mineo. [ his voice isn't sharp, necessarily, but there's the edge of a commander to it, very serious. it is slightly less serious because there are what look like cherry blossom petals in his hair and on his shoulders, but otherwise, he's every bit the marshal gu. ] Come help me with something. I need another ear.

[the thing is that - well immediately after all of that, mineo's pretty hard to find. seems like he's taking care of something else, but afterward he's.... meandering. wandering. like there's an energy he can't get rid of.

so wherever gu yun is, there will probably be a mineo, and he's pausing -

before nodding his head in acknowledgement]

Gu-san.

i wish that these starters were more interesting but they honestly aren't. mineo is in a daze. his feet might finally carry him somewhere, anywhere, and like he isn't paying attention, he bumps right into gu yun

and then needs to take a second to get an idea of where he is because he was just

Oh - hey, Gu-san.

[he will try to pass by quietly but. nah]

[ hey, mineo. here's gu yun! he's dressed in silks that are no longer destroyed, and though his left arm is still hanging loosely at his side, he looks much, much better than when he was profusely bleeding on the floor yesterday.

he comes into the common room, poking around between medbay stays, and spots a familiar red head of hair. ]

Mineo. [ in greeting, as he comes over. hey, how ya doin. ]

[sure that happened. mineo is just going to be in the rec room trying to get cactus needles out of his hand after he stupidly punched someone with them in

but he'll look up when someone walks in]

.... it wasn't the worst theory, Gu-san.

[ it's a few hours after the execution has ended. everyone seems to drift around on sundays, and today's no different, but with yuel alright and an actual killer caught (despite everything) it's actually a fairly peaceful late afternoon.

if mineo's out for a walk, he will find maybe a bizarre sight - it's gu yun, sitting on the floor of the common room. he's got a blanket over his lap at the moment, and he's holding...a couple bunches of flowers? the tv's also on, too, though it's debatable if he's paying much attention to whatever movie is on (though it looks suspiciously like it might be one of those rom-coms from earlier in the week) considering he's just sitting here. staring at these flowers. muttering to himself occasionally. looking back and forth between them. more muttering.

Just a heads up - someone cursed White, if you haven't talked to him or seen him yet today
We're all rather cursed at the moment I think but that's a particular instance of it.

[ at some point early in the morning, mineo gets a picture message! it's. a little blurry because someone took his fucking liuli glass but that's besides the point

it's a picture of... flower petals! like a lot of them. like, a stupid amount of them. you can vaguely see gu yun's hand? thumbs up.

and then a second picture! of a door? it's the inside of a door, actually - despite being blurry, it's pretty clear it's a closet? and the flower petals are perched at the very top, set to be dropped on someone's head the minute the door opens. hanging in the closet is molly's coat. ]
