...I went to talk to Greed, after, and mentioned my theory for her injury, along with a few other things. They said... rather, that the strange reaction that the screen had, and her injury alike, were both caused by this very place, itself. Apparently, it doesn't like it when people back out.
So, we caught an attempted murderer, and one that would've happened without interference. Therefore, it was good enough to trigger the 'guilty' response.
That seems to be the case. I trust Greed's word on this, as well; it would explain why the pod didn't help.

But, the misleading information this time wasn't caused by another participant, but rather, the place itself. [ a beat. ] The rest of the misleading was caused by your curses, the usual sort of distraction.

... Don't be so hard on yourself. You recovered very quickly, and rebounded to help as you always do. There's nothing we can do about being cursed. [ trust him. he. he knows. ] What you can do is recover and take it in stride. There's no controlling other people's actions or reactions.
Perhaps if you ask the Avatars, they can get you some way to block a curse for the sake of trials. I'm not sure if thats entirely possible, but its worth a shot.

Let's apply it to figuring out who did it, in the week to come. I'm not a very optimistic person, but I'm cautiously willing to agree to the fact that it can't be all that much worse, in terms of curses and the like.

From what I've gathered so far, the one that left the markings was a power we received on Friday. If I had to guess - either "what are those" or "doctors hate her". I'll be looking around to find out what each of them do tomorrow after execution.

Only five minutes or so, yes? But, I've already identified what a good number of them did, and none seem to meet the mark.
