[ well! after everyone is roused awake by the death text and they've taken stock of the room, misa hovers by one of the cracked med pods. she reaches her hand out to run her fingers over the surface, hesitating before she turns back toward the others. ]
Guys, call me crazy, but... I think... we might not be alone here? Earlier this week, I went exploring and had something happen to me in the experimental holding room. I know, I know, don't lecture me, it was really stupid and I'm totally a hypocrite—but... while I was there, I ended up inside one of the pods. I– think I ended up in someone's memory? Neither of the people I saw while I was in there were anyone here, but the room was the same, and all the bodies in the pods were of one of the men I saw.
At first I wasn't going to say anything, because I know how crazy this all sounds but... we've seen people we know in those pods, and we've seen us in there too...
What if... what if all the murders so far have been committed by our clones? And that's why we keep getting the answers wrong? What if...what if going in the pods here, like, takes our DNA or whatever and the clones are trying to take our places by killing us?
I saw memories not my own of people not here last week. I didn't-- well. I believe I know who they were. I'm not sure it relates except as more illusions meant to shake us.
I saw two flashes of memory - one I'm fairly sure ... it must have been Jester. [he only saw the hands but they were friggin' blue.] Someone I know from home.
The other I'm less sure about. But still, a memory not my own.
Do you think we ought to talk to Despair about this? I'll go with you, if you like.
[She's not sure about the clone theory, but.]
When Sheila and I explored the chapel, we experienced something strange as well, but it was a memory belonging to Pride. It might be best to rule out that wasn't the cause of what you saw.
I suspect the floor the experimental holding room is on is related to Despair, as this floor is related to Gluttony, the next to Pride, and the one above to Greed.
...When I went to explore the laboratory earlier this week, I heard a child crying where that odd machine was. At the time, I wrote it off as something related to the Avatars, but... I don't think any sort of theory here is particularly crazy, Misamisa.
Mn. I had wondered last week if perhaps it would be impossible for us to figure out these killers - I didn't really mean it, but that would certainly be an interesting theory.
We checked that out, too. It was quite odd - I tried to cut a piece of it away and it shivered and shook. The longer we stayed in the room, too, the more it tried to fold in and over on itself, like it was trying to make itself look bigger.
friday morning

[ so like, moving on, ]
What do you mean, "you believe you know who they were"? Like, people you know from home?

[ she just bites her lip... ]
It seems kinda rude, you know? No privacy, even for people who aren't even here.

When you were at the chapel did you see a woman in pink as well? I explored it earlier this week.

[Both of you.]
Please. . . be careful with the chapel. It isn't a very nice place, but there are important memories there.

I spoke to Pride about what I saw and can confirm the cages are related to their memory, however they became touchy when it came to the woman.

Have you been doing that? I was considering it given Pride's reaction.

Why Despair? Do you think what I saw is related to them?

. . . A child?

A girl, for sure. The machine turned itself on when we tested it, and tried to... work, I suppose, with nothing in it.

Altogether rather horrifying.

Am I the only one here who hasn't seen anything especially strange?
