[ after the trial ended, gu yun's out for a walk! what else can you do after that, right.

making his way past the music room, he spots lenore, though, and pauses, taking a few steps back to look. ]

You alright, Lenore?

[sistocracy]

[lenore is seated at the piano, idly plucking at the keys in an experimental way. she stops when he addresses her.]

Gu Yun. [she looks over to greet him with a faint smile.]

You may want to be careful. It seems the men closest to me keep finding their way to an early grave.

[liuli]

[ awwwww sweetheart.

he comes in, nudging the door shut behind him. ]

Well. I happen to be pretty hardy. [ ... ] I'm sorry for your loss, Lenore - though, I wouldn't count Law out just yet. Anything can happen tomorrow.

[sistocracy]

[she turns around on the piano bench so she can sit while facing him fully.]

Thank you. He's the last person I'd want to see killed here, but... I'm afraid I don't have very high hopes for tomorrow.

[liuli]

I can't blame you. [ considering no executioner has ever gotten killed!

gu yun makes his way over, though, coming to sit nearby. ] ...Law's a good man. You knew about this happening, right...?

[sistocracy]

Yes. [she smiles, a little weakly.]

You, too?

[liuli]

[ he shakes his head. ]

I didn't. I can't say Law told me much. But... I don't blame you, for wanting to help, either.

The situation seemed immensely complicated.

[ common room means gu yun is on his way to the bar, so. spotting lenore where she is, he pauses for a moment before he gives her a little nod of his head. ]

Come to fetch a drink after that?

[sistocracy]

[lenore has only just sat down, and she turns to face him with a guilty smile.]

You got me. It felt needed, after everything that just happened. Would you like to share a bottle?

[liuli]

I would love to, yes.

[ what a fuckin trial. he comes to settle down and reaches across the bar for a glass, fingers nudging the stems of a couple before he plucks one out and sets it down. ] Seems necessary indeed.

[sistocracy]

[lenore pours him some wine before pouring a glass for herself.]

Is Misa a friend of yours?

[liuli]

Mn. [ an agreeing noise, as he takes the glass and pulls it up to his mouth. ]

She's.. we got along well, certainly. But I can't say I didn't see something like this coming.

[sistocracy]

[she rests an arm on the counter, her body half-turned to face him.]

Really? Why is that?

w5 monday

[ at the beginning of week 5, gu yun is still without his liuli glass, which is unfortunate, but. he walks with careful steps through the field, hands behind his back, and does end up recognizing the presence of someone else in the field itself. he makes his way over towards the presence, and then offers a - ]

How's the view?

[sistocracy]

It's lovely in here. I've never seen anything like this.

[she takes a small step aside, and he can see that she's been admiring a cluster of luminescent plants.]

I doubt we have the conditions to grow these back home. It's a pity.

[liuli]

[ he

cannot see that well tragically, but, actually, the luminescence helps a bit, so the room doesn't feel completely blurred and useless. he gives lenore a smile, though. ]

Seems a special sort of place, as far as I can tell. [ it smells good... ] Suppose we can't just pick up pieces of this place and bring it home, can we?

[sistocracy]

It would be nice if we could. Not sure that my sisters would appreciate the souvenirs, but...

[oh, she's just realized why he looks kind of different.]

You don't have your monocle today?

[liuli]

[ he pulls a face. ]

It's gone missing. [ tch.... ] Likely a prank.

You've got sisters, though. Sounds a more interesting conversation.

[sistocracy]

[he gets a sympathetic look, then...]

Oh? [she chuckles.] Well, they are an interesting bunch. I miss them more with each day that passes here.

w7! thursday evening!

Fancy a walk through the garden? I hear that it's a lovely spot for a date.

[sistocracy]

[and lenore shows up in a long black dress she picked up from the infinity closet! just as when she first reappeared among the living, her left hand is missing, with a smooth stump at the wrist. it doesn't seem to be bothering her, though, as she smiles easily at gu yun when she sees him.]

[ listen he lost his left hand once?? it's fine he doesn't mind!!! he's waiting at the entrance when lenore makes it in, dressed in his usual robes, and gives her a smile, offering his arm. ]

How lovely, to see a beautiful flower in a beautiful garden. Glad you could make it. Shall we?

[sistocracy]

Charming as ever, I see. [she hooks her left arm around his, and off they go!]

We had some nice things, down in the underworld. Not many flowers, though. I'm glad I can see all of this again.

[liuli]

[ it's a nice, easy walk, taking it slow to admire all of pride's beautiful roses. this place really is gorgeous. ]

I have to admit, I am incredibly curious. What was it like over there? I've heard something about a city, and a beach, but not much otherwise.

[sistocracy]

We had most of the necessities, and a number of comforts available to us. Decent rooms. A grocery store. A bar, where we could watch the world of the living while we drank.

The city had a bit of a sinister look to it, but... oh, there were some fun places, as well. The beach, a winery, an airport... and, weirdly, Mineo and Takeru's office? I never realized it was theirs until they said so just the other day.
