Right. So then, the question becomes, how do you stop people from voting entirely? From 'indulging', and taking the selfish action, when one vote could instantly condemn one person if the rest abstain?
I'm sure there's some factor that will make it not work, but if there's someone who's really committed to it, if they keep a hold of the box the entire trial... In theory, that would work. Maybe the Avatars wouldn't let that happen, though.
