I'm not really impressed. I do not really find it sympathetic. Because the dead have also told us that Beauregard is gone entirely, and cannot be saved, and I do not really believe it is remotely justifiable to be in possession of that information and behave as certain Avatars have while failing to disclose it.

I've never had a doubt of Pride's intentions or priorities. [ he doesn't seem particularly annoyed by it or bothered by it really? it's just kind of a fact. he knows what kind of person pride is by this point. ]
I think we need to find something that will continually keep it not just fed, but entertained. [ where the fuck is our pasta pass. ] Not sure any of that will be enough.
That thing saps that same energy from the Avatars on Fridays - she described it as 'chewing on them'. It doesn't kill them, but continues to feed off of them, and they recover, only for it to repeat. It also punishes them.
...Though, I suppose, if it caused the Avatars to transform, it could do that to them.
