He probably yelled at himself enough, in all of that rambling. [ unfortunately that sounds very fond. something something having people who care. ] But the plan itself was solid, nonetheless. It worked, and it will work well, short of being swept off to strange other places.
Yes. In such situations, it will be effective. So long as I know that something is amiss, I can usually reason through it. You managed it on your own, with the request to escort you.
We really do have a bit too much in common, don't we? [ this is a little dryly amused. ] I did alright.
[ ... ] The investigation we went on - I was lucky that Molly and Mineo were there. Had I been alone, it would've been extremely difficult. I found the hole in the wall through sheer, dumb luck; I was trying to get a feel for where I was.
At least it's done. If you don't go next week, you won't be looked at for it.
[. . .]
I spent this entire week worrying over the notion that someone I knew might commit a murder. For reasons that were extremely irrational, but apparently true. I would prefer it if you did not make it two weeks in a row. I am all out of useful boons.
Ahh. So am I, short of my pin. I don't really want to go barreling into a situation with no weapons or defenses. That seems incredibly stupid.
[ there's a bit of a joking tone to this, but, he recognizes what she's saying. ]
...That being said, I still stand by what I said to you both yesterday. If someone attacks me, I intend to come out of it the victor. I won't make the first strike.
Well, obviously if someone attacks you, you should kill them, and then come to me after and I will help you dispose of the evidence. That is a different matter entirely.
[ friendship levels: i will help you get away with self defense kill ]
Ha! Well. Then, I'll hold you to that, in exchange for the fact that I swear that I won't attack anyone. I'm going to try to live without my medicine, which is something I have never done in my entire life, so do know I'm taking this quite seriously.
[ actually fuck this place!! god!!! ] I look forward to being able to express my opinions again. Feel like a scorpion with the poison sucked out of its tail.
...I think I'm going to have Molly tattoo my mole back on. [ seems a bit of a non sequitur, but. he reaches up, tapping the spot, which has now faded to a blush pink. ] Shouldn't be too difficult.
Precisely. [ he snorts. ] I owe her a thousand gold pieces for the scare and the sensation, likely, but I had to be sure. It's a bit unfortunate, because I wanted to keep it up my sleeve a little longer, but it was worth it.
I think you're right. Vira mentioned her getting a power from Gluttony, right? Did we ever get clarification on what that was?
Good. If it worsens, and it would be better to change to another form of communication, merely tell me. I write quickly.
[. . .]
Ah. Yuel confessed to the arrows, at last. I gave her my power this week in exchange for the confession. Which, incidentally, is Seth - the animal transformation power.
She didn't mean any harm. It wasn't even a prank - I think she genuinely thought she was doing a nice thing for White, and chose Molly because she thinks he's a "good friend."
What we discussed still seems the best method. I've thought perhaps of putting those tattoo needles of Molly's to work in another place, as well. The inside of my arm, perhaps - a symbol or shape to memorize to use to answer questions. Touch the petals to bring the volume of my voice down to something more normal. Touch a leaf on the left to look left, so on and so forth. I'm still pondering what would work best, so I'll get back to you, but it's something I don't think anyone will question, should I merely explain I wanted Molly to do it.
[ since we're all Gay Drama and stuff. he'll gladly use that to his advantage! how useful.
as for the last bit, he just. sighs. ] ...Well. I'm glad it's all solved out. Can't say I'm surprised. [ yuel.... why are you like this..... ] Is she going to apologize to them?

I'll admit, it's going slower than I expected it to. I didn't think I'd be able to do much this evening, but I'm alright.
