Ah. Yuel confessed to the arrows, at last. I gave her my power this week in exchange for the confession. Which, incidentally, is Seth - the animal transformation power.

She didn't mean any harm. It wasn't even a prank - I think she genuinely thought she was doing a nice thing for White, and chose Molly because she thinks he's a "good friend."

What we discussed still seems the best method. I've thought perhaps of putting those tattoo needles of Molly's to work in another place, as well. The inside of my arm, perhaps - a symbol or shape to memorize to use to answer questions. Touch the petals to bring the volume of my voice down to something more normal. Touch a leaf on the left to look left, so on and so forth. I'm still pondering what would work best, so I'll get back to you, but it's something I don't think anyone will question, should I merely explain I wanted Molly to do it.

Good. I doubt White will be able to look anyone in the eye for a few days, when this is all over.

[ poor guy. lol. ] At least our worst fears about that weren't reality - I rather prefer this answer, even if it was still incredibly stupid.

. . . Ah. One thing. Did Misa actually use her Blind power on you? I wasn't sure what to make of that.

[ snort. ] No, of course not. I just knew I had an easy excuse to make it sound like she did, and no one would call me on it. Lest my feelings were hurt. [ that last part is like dripping with sarcasm, but that's fine. ]

At that point, I knew for certain Misa hadn't actually killed anyone - what happened with Grace is what she whispered to me during trial. I wanted to focus back on the case with Eleanor, so I was hoping to clear some of the suspicion off and move on.

Grace whispered to you during trial?

Oh, no. Misa did.

[bonetiddies]

Oh. And you just took her at her word that she hasn't killed anyone?

[liuli]

No, of course not.

[ he shrugs. ] She didn't tell me that - and to be honest, I've thought her capable of it for a while. She told me she was awake, and that she saw Grace, and the bit about her injury. I was able to more or less put the pieces together, with the addition of learning about the curse you placed on her.

[ timeline of trial is a blur there's a 85% chance i didn't time those two things correctly but SHH WE WILL PRETEND I DID IF I DIDNT OK ]

I also wanted to see if anyone would contradict me, in case she was lying.

I'm not convinced she didn't also kill Eleanor somehow.

Mmn. I don't know. I could see it, but I think it's odd that she might've been able to overcome the compulsion to not kill for one person and not another.

I talked to Greed about her injury earlier. They said that it was placed on her by this very place itself, for backing out - and that was why the screen reacted the way it did. It did react strangely, right? Judging by everyone's reactions.

I didn't see it, either. Something at the end of trial triggered my condition; I was trying to avoid losing consciousness.

[They were both having their respective problems at the time. God.]

But that is what I understand occurred, yes.
