[ oh hello! gu yun is on the top floor today, looking like a man on a mission, for the most part. when he spots qingxuan, he gives her a smile, though. ]
First off - don't be mad! I didn't think it was going to happen!
[she makes a face]
The creature recognized me from the week before last and tried to attack me as soon as it saw me. It didn't manage to! It got tangled up in the wires of the machine room, so it slimed me instead. Ahaha, stupid thing, it made such a mess of my hair...
Not quite. I did see a little bit before it noticed me - it was in a darker room, with a different type of floor, and the machine looked a little different...? Still operational, but not the way it looks right now. There were tufts of fur and slime around... The walls shimmered a little like something was vibrating right before I heard it start purring.
Then when it noticed me, it attacked - but when it got stuck, it ended up just saying... "Playtime over," in that weird voice it has. [she's not mimicking the uwuspeak thanks] Then my eyes started hurting and the lights went out, and the next thing I knew I was outside of the room covered in slime.
I'm not sure if that's all there was to see there, or if I would have been able to see more if it hadn't attacked me when it did.
That sounds like the room Molly saw with his. [ must be its home. ] Didn't you all see a version of the base that wasn't the base, on your adventure? It was close, but not quite right, right?
[ and the playtime part... gu yun frowns, folding his arms, fingertip tapping against his bicep, thoughtful. ]
That's right. It was similar to this, in that it was a... space station, but not identical. [...] Just like the room with the machine we have here and what I saw just now. Similar, but not identical.
Can you talk to either of them? They shouldn't go alone. It may be better for someone who hasn't encountered it to look - I saw it when I went with Vira.

For you, meimei? Of course. What is it?

I used my magnifying glass on the room with the machine. I was hoping to talk it over with you before I figure out how to tell the others.

Sure. What happened?

[ mmmmmmrgh. ]
We still only have a couple of those glasses left. We should have copied them. [ tch ] I'll ask and see what I can find.

They injured the creature when we encountered it in the vents.
[she wonders if it'll hold a grudge against them, too.]

I'll warn them both.

[ ... ]
I don't know how much you've heard, but be careful, meimei.

I think you could be highly useful in swaying either of their opinion in our favor. Remember our conversation about strengths?

[he has a point there. she nods once.]
I'll do what I can.

but she nods again!]
Mmhm, I will.
