...not in the vents. We made it through without encountering it and ended up in a hallway with a door at the end of it. This one wasn't jammed shut, and it led into a room with a podium at the center of it.
We heard noises coming from the vents, though... so I threw something I found down to distract the creature and we ran for it. It burst out of the vents not too long after and followed us, and we ended up closing the door on it, but it... wasn't crushed by it. Unfortunately.

There were four handprints on the podium. We were supposed to recalibrate... something.
...no. We had to choose - yes, or no. And it... we felt so tired. Like it was an important choice, but we didn't have all of the information. Like... someone else could make the decision. Like, maybe we could go home...

...we chose yes. We'd woken up with a list of tasks, after all, and... recalibrating "redacted" was one of them. It - the same thing that happened when I investigated the simulation room happened again, but this time, it was to all of us. We... changed. Our bodies changed, and... they were changes we've seen on the Avatars. It only lasted for a few moments... we went back to normal, after that.

That was when the creature got free of the door. It - came up to us, and it was purring, and... it opened its beak. Last time it did that, it attacked us, so I...
...I wonder if the experience that you went through is just what the Avatars have been through, all at once, instead of perhaps one singular Avatar's lived experience, as the others may have been before.

I'm wondering that, myself. The similarities to the simulation room, and the fact that we were on a space station... [...] I don't know for certain, since I didn't see the footage myself, but I think the creature from the vents may be the same one that Yuri saw on the security footage.
In any case, it all seems connected to what's happened to them since coming here. I'll talk about it with the Avatars once I have the chance to - but I've been told to rest by them, too, so... I think that may be after this weekend is over.
...but I didn't want to keep it to myself. If any of you can figure out something by knowing what we went through, then I want you to know it all. The more of us who know, the higher the chances of us figuring out a way out of this... right?
