It is not a bad backup plan, no. We will keep it in mind, but I think we should approach this as a negotiation first, rather than with a cudgel.
I may be proven wrong but I don't believe there is anyone who wants to execute. It will be more a matter of convincing those who are more pessimistic about others' intentions. And that I think we will do best if we discuss our options openly.
We're in agreement. I do think this is our best chance for a no vote. After all, the largest concern I've heard is "what about the person who saved him" And we know how that went.
