[ gu yun's wit is lightning quick- always has been, always will be - and talking to childe is no exception. he can't glean childe's background or his life, but the pieces come together. gu yun himself could go on and bullshit for hours and hours and hours about how pretty someone was, but that's only because he can spin a yarn like a pro. he likes pretty people, pretty things.
but he respects a lot more than that.

[ that's got a little taunt to it, a challenge. being praised isn't really a new thing for gu yun, but it's not really something he applies a lot of value to, either. he's enjoying lording the fact that this is how they're going to do this over childe's head, but his ego's not so massive that it's something that really is going to get him going. so much of his personality is put upon... much like his capabilities in the bedroom.

He saw enough of the scars the day of their arrival that he doesn't pull back to look, instead letting his hands move across them, mapping them out more with his nails than his fingers. He's operating under the assumption that Gu Yun is used to this, and not particularly sensitive, so he doesn't bother playing at being the gentle, curious lover. He immediately focuses on what seem like the worst scars, when he finds them. They abandoned their game quickly, but that means his thirst for stories of conquest was never sated, and he wants to know more about them. Wants to add more with his own hands, and this isn't fierce combat, but it can be close enough if he tries. Childe isn't particularly sadistic by nature, but it's something he can lean into if he wants, and he does that now. There's no point to this if it brings no benefit to himself too, after all.
He breaks away, jerking his head slightly out of Gu Yun's grip on his neck, a wordless indication to loosen it. It's not to go far, though, just to let him mouth his way down Gu Yun's throat.

his assumption about gu yun is incorrect, but not for the reason that he's just a virgin maiden. rather, its that he's been compensating for his lack of senses his entire life - even when he's medicated - which means a few things. not just his nose (doglike) and his palate (picky), but touch, too. when he can't rely on his eyes or his hearing, gu yun relies on the way the world feels to survive. the way the wind feels on his bare skin, the way iron armor hits the breaking point of its heat before cooldown; he has taught himself to pick up on every sensation over the years, and this is the first time that he's realizing that maybe it's going to be to his benefit in the bedroom. each touch is amplified because of it, and the rough nature is giving and wanting, something to his taste.
the worst scar he'll find is blatant. it starts at the base of his neck and stretches all the way down under his chest, like he'd been cleaved in two and sewn back together, the skin white and dead, and when childe traces it, his back rises with it, easy, following the sensitivity f his own skin with the marks he knows are there. it sticks out among the rest, scattered marks from bullets, from the sharp edge of a wind slasher, from shrapnel, from swords, from arrows. he's more scar, than person, at this rate - gu yun, the cockroach, the survivor.
the hand on the back of his neck loosens, picking up on the cue, and and he brings it up to curl in his hair, instead, grip loose at first, though tightening at the sharp sensation of teeth. at the way that statement rankles something, laid bare more so than anything else.

letting his eyes flutter shut, tilting his head back, gu yun is lazily enjoying the heady warmth of the wet pressure of his mouth; however, childe's statement makes him snort. ]

[ he says this loftily, a low hint of dark humor even like this - but that's true, too. what other attachments could he have? there's not enough room in his heart for more than his nation, and everything it embodies. it speaks to his loyalty, and to his core, perhaps more than anything.

gu yun lifts his hips to make it easier for him, unafraid of the pressure at his chest; his heartbeat flutters under childe's palm, though there's nothing romantic about it. under his silks, gu yun's teeny waist is even more obvious, his figure surprisingly delicate despite the layer of muscle and scars on top. by all means, do all the work, he's supposed to be getting worshipped here! ]
